Supply Chain Logistics Specialist (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end import and export customs clearance activities.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and UAE government authorities to resolve holds, queries, and inspections.
• Prepare, verify, and submit commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, import permits, and customs declarations.
• Support export control compliance, including UAE Strategic Goods obligations and coordination with Logistics and Compliance teams.
• Monitor broker performance, clearance cycle times, documentation accuracy, and duty optimization.
• Coordinate the compliant handling, packaging, labelling, and documentation of dangerous goods and dual-use items.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience in customs operations, trade compliance, or logistics within a regulated import/export environment.
• Hands-on experience with export control frameworks including ITAR and UAE Strategic Goods.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
• Experience with customs duty calculations, HS code classification, valuation methods, and duty relief schemes.
• Knowledge of IATA DGR and applicable UAE regulations for dangerous goods and sensitive cargo.

Nice to have

• FIATA certification or an equivalent customs and trade compliance qualification.
