BEOL Test Process Engineer

What you will do

• Establish robust process and control systems to monitor yield and quality.
• Improve yield and reduce material scrap through process, material, and equipment optimization.
• Provide engineering support for plant strategy projects, new product development, customer complaints, outsourcing projects, and Lean Kaizen activities.
• Troubleshoot process issues and manage abnormal lot disposition to support on-time delivery and high quality.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity and cost reduction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in electronics, physics, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• More than 5 years of experience in a discrete semiconductor company, including advanced packaging test experience.
• Knowledge of electrical test theory and experience with TVS testing equipment such as NY20 and Powertech.
• Experience with yield analysis and troubleshooting using MES, YSM, and Minitab.
• Experience in failure analysis using X-ray, CS, FA, or InGas methods, along with laboratory reliability knowledge.
• Good oral and written communication skills in Mandarin and English.

Nice to have

• Experience setting up 3D vision systems.
• Experience with quality risk assessment, FT process control, NPD projects, and customer complaint cases.
• Experience leading SQDCI or Lean improvement projects.
• Knowledge of DOE, QC 7 tools, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and 8D methodology.
