Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Java, Typescript & Azure)

What you will do

• Own and evolve services and applications across their full lifecycle.
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based applications using Java, TypeScript, and modern engineering practices.
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and engineers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Drive quality through automated testing, observability, continuous improvement, and secure software development.
• Lead technical problem-solving, incident investigation, architectural decisions, and technical debt reduction.
• Mentor and coach engineers while contributing to engineering standards and team capability.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience developing software with Java and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience building and supporting RESTful microservices with Spring Boot, Node.js, or similar frameworks.
• Solid understanding of cloud technologies, preferably Azure, infrastructure, and containerisation tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices, preferably GitHub Actions.
• Strong knowledge of software design principles, clean architecture, and test-driven development.
• Experience with Agile delivery, stakeholder communication, and mentoring engineers.
