Senior Product Engineer ( .NET/React)

What you will do

• Design and build systems for workplace pensions, retirement savings, contributions, onboarding, provider integrations, and employer configuration.
• Develop the Spend product, including allowance management, card issuing, transaction flows, and wallet provisioning for Apple and Google Wallet.
• Own technical architecture for the Investments stream and integrate with pension, savings, payment, and card infrastructure such as Stripe.
• Contribute to frontend development with React and TypeScript when required by product features.
• Shape the roadmap through customer conversations and autonomous product and technical decisions.
• Maintain code quality, reliability, observability, and technical planning while helping define team practices.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building backend systems in production.
• Experience with .NET, PostgreSQL, Azure or AWS, and frontend development with React and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and maintaining third-party API integrations.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, event-driven patterns, correctness, auditability, reliability, security, and compliance.
• Clear communication skills for working with engineers and customers, along with a product mindset and proactive ownership.
• Comfort working with ambiguity in a fast-growing startup and using AI tools in daily engineering work.
