What you will do
- Work with proprietary clinical data from hospital and clinic partners to generate insights shaping model and product direction
- Build clinical reasoning models to improve physician and clinic workflows
- Design and publish benchmarks exposing limitations of current LLMs on clinical reasoning
- Evaluate computer-use models on real-world tasks
- Own the training and evaluation pipeline end to end
- Take open-ended problems from question to working model with minimal predefined structure
- Write technical reports and papers
Requirements
- Must have real research experience and ability to define problems
- Experience training models (not just fine-tuning APIs) and fluency in Python
- Master's degree or higher in ML or related field
- Energized by open-ended problems and ambiguity
- Ownership mindset without need for guidance
- Preference for startup environment over big tech

- Prior founder or founding-engineer experience
- Strong product taste
- Experience with healthcare datasets
- Built LLM-powered products
- Ambitions to start own company
