VP, Director of Real Estate

Location: New York, United States

Salary: $180,000–$220,000 base salary per year, plus discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop and execute corporate real estate strategy across owned and leased assets.
• Lead portfolio planning, lease renewals, consolidations, relocations, space optimization, dispositions, and site selection.
• Direct capital planning, design, construction, facilities operations, maintenance, and renovation projects.
• Build budgets, forecasts, occupancy cost analyses, business cases, financial models, and scenario analyses.
• Lead lease, sublease, purchase, sale, and other real estate transactions in partnership with Legal and Finance.
• Build and mentor the real estate and facilities organization while overseeing vendors and third-party facilities management partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; an advanced degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 15 years of progressive experience in corporate real estate, commercial real estate, facilities management, development, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading enterprise-level real estate strategy and portfolio management in a complex, multi-site organization.
• Strong commercial real estate finance experience, including financial modeling, capital planning, investment analysis, budgeting, and portfolio optimization.
• Experience negotiating commercial office leases, subleases, restructurings, and other complex real estate transactions.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, analytical, and project management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience overseeing facilities in a Class A New York City commercial building.
• Advanced degree in a relevant business, real estate, finance, or construction discipline.
