Manager, Quality Management (QA)

Location: US Remote

Salary: $111,800–$167,600 USD annually for Zone 1 locations; $104,500–$156,700 USD annually for other US locations. Total compensation also includes an annual bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead and mentor Quality Analysts developing and executing test cases and scenarios for software releases.
• Advance the testing practice toward an automation-first approach.
• Collaborate with quality managers, product owners, and developers.
• Extend test frameworks and develop testing tools using appropriate technologies.
• Improve and standardize test planning, execution, and reporting processes.
• Design test strategies and implement test cases to support high-quality deliverables.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on software quality assurance testing experience, preferably with web and mobile applications.
• Experience managing and mentoring Quality Analysts and Software Engineers in Test.
• Experience with code deployments, version control systems, and continuous integration.
• Experience creating test automation, preferably with Playwright and Selenium.
• Previous experience with C# and TypeScript, plus familiarity with Bamboo or GitLab continuous deployment tools.
• Ability to work remotely with teams across different time zones; remote management experience is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
• Strong experience building QA teams may be considered in place of the preferred degree.
