Engineering Manager (AI)

Location: Onsite five days a week at the Irving/Dallas, Texas or Mossville, Illinois office. Up to 20% travel is required. Domestic relocation assistance is available.

Salary: $147,760–$221,640 per year

What you will do

• Lead a global, cross-functional team of software and systems engineers developing the hirify.global AI Assistant.
• Set technical direction, architecture strategy, and product roadmaps for AI Assistant platforms and machine-based delivery.
• Guide generative AI, agentic AI, foundation model, LLM, cloud, edge computing, data pipeline, and machine connectivity initiatives.
• Align engineering execution with product strategy, customer requirements, quality, cybersecurity, privacy, and business objectives.
• Drive software engineering excellence through AI governance, DevOps, test automation, system validation, and CI/CD.
• Manage talent development, staffing, budgets, suppliers, risks, and multi-year program execution through production deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Systems Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience leading software engineering organizations delivering AI-enabled products or platforms.
• Knowledge of generative AI, agentic AI, foundation models, LLMs, RAG architectures, and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and edge computing environments.
• Understanding of APIs, microservices, distributed systems, data platforms, AI governance, responsible AI, cybersecurity, privacy, and model lifecycle management.
• Must work onsite full-time five days per week at the Irving/Dallas, Texas or Mossville, Illinois office; visa sponsorship is not available.

• Experience deploying AI solutions in industrial, manufacturing, mining, construction, autonomy, or connected-machine environments.
• Experience leading geographically distributed engineering teams.
