Senior Technical Product Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Huntsville, Alabama; relocation provided; travel expected up to 15% of the time

Base pay range: $169,347–$237,085 annually for Washington applicants; other site ranges may differ.

What you will do

• Own the vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for a new enterprise operating system covering MRP, production scheduling, engineering, repair, service, and customer data.
• Engage manufacturing operators, engineers, supply chain teams, service teams, and program stakeholders to define and prioritize product requirements.
• Translate BOMs, routings, scheduling, production planning, inventory, and repair/service workflows into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, system logic, and data structures.
• Lead product managers, engineers, and analysts while establishing team processes, culture, and delivery cadence.
• Drive architectural trade-offs, backlog prioritization, iterative releases, system integration, and data traceability across enterprise domains.
• Define KPIs and lead change-management and adoption strategies so the platform becomes a trusted enterprise source of truth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, industrial/systems engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in software product management, business systems, or technical product leadership, including delivery of complex enterprise software.
• Experience developing, implementing, or owning MRP, ERP, MES, or PLM systems in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong stakeholder-management, communication, and cross-functional influencing skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, current U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted U.S. refugee or asylee.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or complex manufacturing and with greenfield enterprise platforms.
• Technical fluency with SQL, APIs, relational databases, and system interoperability.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Siemens Teamcenter, agile product development, lifecycle management, or mentoring product managers and analysts.
• Relevant PMP, CPIM, Certified Product Manager, or ERP certifications.
