Senior Roadway Project Manager

What you will do

• Lead complex roadway, highway, and traffic engineering projects from conceptual planning through design and construction.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, fee estimates, budgets, and resource plans.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and subconsultants delivering PS&E packages.
• Act as the primary client contact and manage communication, satisfaction, risks, and project performance.
• Support business development through pursuit strategy, proposals, presentations, and interviews.
• Ensure compliance with TxDOT, AASHTO, local agency standards, and quality assurance procedures while mentoring junior staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 15+ years of transportation engineering experience and 5+ years of project management experience.
• Experience managing large-scale roadway or highway projects, including scopes, schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget while meeting client and quality requirements.
• Established relationships with DOT, municipal, or regional agencies, plus experience contributing to business development and winning new work.
