Clinical Field Specialist (Genetic Diagnostics)

Location: Remote USA; territory covers Akron, Pittsburgh, Eastern Pennsylvania, and portions of Maryland and West Virginia.

Salary: $165,000–$190,000 USD per year, plus uncapped quarterly commissions, car allowance, and RSUs.

What you will do

• Provide clinical insight, education, technical training, and hands-on support for company products in clinical and surgical environments.
• Drive revenue growth through direct sales to MFMs, OB/GYNs, and Genetic Counselors.
• Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with medical professionals and key accounts.
• Create and execute strategic business plans for territory growth and market development.
• Support existing products and new product launches, including expansion into new markets.
• Assess customer needs through consultative sales, logistical coordination, and problem-solving.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Science, Nursing, or a related healthcare discipline preferred.
• At least three years of physician sales experience in the diagnostic laboratory industry, ideally in genetics.
• Strong background in medical or biological sciences and experience with clinical diagnostics.
• Deep understanding of OB/GYN and MFM markets, with demonstrated success selling into these specialties.
• Experience launching products and generating rapid revenue growth in new markets.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Gmail, and Salesforce.
