Investment Banking Associate I or II, Diversified Industrials

Location: Boston, MA; on-site

Salary: $160,000–$190,000 per year

What you will do

• Work with senior bankers on business development, transaction sourcing, and execution.
• Participate in live M&A, capital offering, private placement, and strategic advisory transactions.
• Develop technical analyses, financial models, presentations, and marketing materials.
• Communicate with clients during transaction execution and support client meetings and conferences.
• Supervise, mentor, and review the work of investment banking analysts and interns.
• Participate in recruiting and college outreach initiatives.

Requirements

• At least two years of professional experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree; an MBA is not required.
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, corporate finance, and accounting.
• Advanced proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, plus strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, exercise discretion with confidential information, and interact confidently with senior executives.
• Willingness to work extended hours, nights, and weekends when required; travel for client meetings and conferences is required.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Capital IQ, PitchBook, or Tableau.
• Securities Industry Essentials, Series 79, Series 7, or Series 63 licenses. New hires without required licenses must complete them successfully after joining.
