Associate, Banker - Industry/Country Coverage

Location: New York, NY, United States. Domestic travel required for approximately 5% of the time.

Salary: $175,000–$203,000 annual base salary

What you will do

• Create and analyze complex financial models and scenario analyses for client alternatives.
• Analyze financial and non-financial data, market trends, KPIs, and sector research.
• Prepare presentations, financial exhibits, marketing documents, and information memoranda.
• Support advisory teams in structuring and executing M&A, divestitures, carve-outs, and capital raises for middle-market TMT companies.
• Coordinate with clients, senior and junior bankers, and teams across divisions.
• Develop client relationships and help guide client financial decisions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Management Science, Business Administration, or a related field, plus one year of relevant experience; or a bachelor’s degree in one of these fields, plus three years of relevant experience.
• Experience facilitating communication with clients, internal teams, and key decision-makers.
• Experience managing multiple client workstreams, coordinating tasks, and prioritizing conflicting deadlines.
• Experience developing and validating operating models and scenario analyses using quantitative methods.
• Experience preparing comprehensive presentations and summarizing complex findings and recommendations.
• Experience with Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Dealogic, Thomson Research Portal, and Microsoft Office Suite.
