What you will do
- Blast and cement rolls and prepare rolls for autoclave processing.
- Operate autoclaves and make minor repairs and adjustments.
- Install and remove bearings and process heads, transport rolls, and load machines.
- Move raw materials, mix cement, remove waste, and maintain clean work areas and equipment.
- Operate forklifts to move parts and comply with applicable specifications.
- Follow all safety and environmental policies and perform additional assigned duties.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn roll vulcanization methods, measuring instruments, graphs, and job specifications.
- Ability to follow instructions and provide effective customer service to vendors and internal customers.
- Ability to wear and use a respirator and other required safety equipment.
- Full physical mobility and ability to lift and move 25–50 lbs.
- Successful employment is contingent on a background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen.
