What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure IT infrastructure.
• Manage and optimize AWS or Azure cloud computing platforms.
• Implement advanced security technologies and practices to protect systems and data.
• Lead IT projects using established project management methodologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Develop automation scripts, perform advanced systems administration, and tune system performance.
• Troubleshoot complex networking and distributed computing environments, prepare technical documentation, and act as a vendor liaison.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, equivalent experience, or a master's degree with relevant experience.
• 8+ years of related experience and advanced systems administration knowledge.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Expertise in scalable infrastructure design, security technologies, operating systems, networking, and distributed computing.
• Knowledge of IT project management methodologies and the ability to lead and mentor junior system administrators.
• Strong communication skills, including writing proposals and technical papers, presenting to customers or professional peers, and working with upper management.

Nice to have

• Advanced IT certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Experience with DevOps tools including Docker, Kubernetes, or Jenkins.
• Experience with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or other scripting and automation tools.
