What you will do

• Analyze large, heterogeneous structured and unstructured datasets to identify patterns and insights affecting patient health.
• Develop predictive models using statistical modeling, machine learning, data mining, regression, neural networks, clustering, and pattern recognition.
• Create or modify scripts and software applications for data management, extraction, analysis, and AI applications.
• Collaborate with knowledge architects, informaticians, clinicians, subject matter experts, and external partners to develop and deploy solutions for nontechnical users.
• Interpret analytical results, prepare reports, and present findings in accessible terms for business and clinical audiences.
• Provide consultative support, training, and recommendations to departments and project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, health science, or another analytical or quantitative field.
• At least three years of professional or research experience in data science, or a preferred Master’s degree or PhD with relevant data experience.
• Demonstrated experience developing predictive models with advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, or data mining techniques.
• Experience with data modeling, data exploration tools, analytical methodologies, statistical packages, and modeling tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, interpersonal, communication, customer service, and time management skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship, visa transfer, and F-1 STEM OPT extension support are not available.
