Workday System Architect (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the United States; travel to West Virginia University Health System facilities or affiliated sites may be required.

What you will do

• Design, develop, implement, support, and optimize enterprise Workday and business application architectures.
• Advise business customers on processes, technology options, enterprise solutions, and strategic initiatives.
• Specify complex systems and solutions, evaluate design options, and ensure integration, performance, and service quality.
• Develop architecture models, component requirements, technical specifications, and implementation solutions.
• Lead process improvement, enterprise change management, complex business initiatives, and issue prevention efforts.
• Provide expert guidance, technical leadership, mentoring, and support to developers, managers, peers, and business partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, computer science, business, informatics, or a related field and 8 years of system analysis experience; alternatively, a high school diploma or equivalent and 12 years of experience.
• 5–7 years of Workday experience.
• Experience designing complex systems, architectures, integrations, business processes, and technical solutions.
• Ability to lead change management, resolve complex architecture problems, manage stakeholder relationships, and provide technical mentoring.
• Availability for on-call responsibilities and possible travel to WVUHS facilities or affiliated sites.

Nice to have

• Experience in a healthcare system or environment.
• Experience with data integration, application roadmaps, technical architecture, or workflow architecture.
