Maintenance Intern (Automotive)

What you will do

• Create and submit purchase requisitions in SAP.
• Monitor requisition approvals and follow up with approvers.
• Coordinate with buyers to ensure purchase orders are processed on time.
• Communicate with vendors about procurement inquiries, order status, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain maintenance part records and track inventory levels.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, including basic inventory and purchasing calculations.
• SAP experience with purchasing and inventory management is highly desirable.
• Employment-based non-immigrant or immigrant visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• Industrial Maintenance or Industrial Electricity certification.
• Completion of a maintenance apprenticeship program.
• Experience in administrative support, purchasing, procurement, inventory control, or customer service.
• Exposure to Warehouse Management Systems.
