Supplier Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead supplier-focused New Product Introduction efforts and support successful product launches.
• Drive improvements in supplier scalability, cost, delivery, quality, and manufacturing performance.
• Conduct Design for Manufacturability reviews and use SPC, DOE, metrology, and sampling plans to optimize processes.
• Develop robust production processes and resolve manufacturing issues across the T2 supply base.
• Evaluate, select, source, and develop suppliers while supporting material selection and cost reduction.
• Review mechanical drawings and technical specifications, and manage supplier improvement projects, timelines, and budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of hands-on engineering and manufacturing experience with high-volume mechanical components and sub-assemblies.
• At least 5 years of supplier management and development experience focused on performance and continuous improvement.
• Expertise in mechanical drawings, GD&T, metrology, statistical data analysis, SPC, DOE, and sampling plans.
• Strong understanding of machining, injection molding, casting, assembly, polymers, metals, electronics, PCBA, and contract manufacturing.
• Willingness to travel 20–25% domestically and internationally, including short-notice travel.
