I&O Developer Enablement and Adoption Lead (Cloud)

Location: City of London, United Kingdom. Regular travel to IG locations is required for in-person SME workshops and cloud migration support.

What you will do

• Define and own the developer enablement strategy for infrastructure and operations products, aligned with platform roadmaps and cloud adoption goals.
• Design persona-based curricula and enablement pathways covering AWS, GitLab, observability, performance engineering, Kong API, and core infrastructure services.
• Design and deliver hands-on, in-person SME workshops embedded with app teams to accelerate cloud adoption and migration outcomes.
• Coordinate platform SMEs during live migration and adoption challenges, identify blockers, and help teams become self-sufficient.
• Produce and maintain developer-facing guides, runbooks, worked examples, self-service modules, and capability assessments.
• Build dashboards and feedback loops to measure capability uplift, adoption progress, workshop outcomes, and migration velocity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in learning, enablement, or engineering capability development, preferably in infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering.
• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering technical enablement programmes for developers and app teams with measurable adoption or migration outcomes.
• Experience running hands-on, in-person workshops with engineering audiences and working in an advisory or embedded capacity during cloud migrations.
• Background working with or alongside platform, DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of AWS, CI/CD, observability, infrastructure as code, and security fundamentals.
• Strong instructional design, technical writing, facilitation, coaching, analytical, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills.
