AI Mentor (AI Workflow Specialist Programme)

Location: Home based in the UK, with occasional travel to the London office. Applicants must be currently based in the UK and have the legal right to work there.

What you will do

• Mentor professionals in identifying and implementing AI-driven workflow improvements that deliver measurable business impact and ROI.
• Provide formative and summative assessments against the apprenticeship standard.
• Support learners in producing high-quality project portfolios and preparing for the apprenticeship end-point assessment.
• Deliver technical support, check-ins, and individual and group mentoring sessions.
• Provide feedback on learner progress to the Delivery Team and support line-manager input and final employer references.
• Safeguard learners, promote equality of opportunity, and contribute to team meetings and ad hoc delivery projects.

Requirements

• Practical experience with modern AI and data tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, Power BI, or ChatGPT.
• Practical experience with low-code/no-code workflow automation tools such as Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Zapier, Make, or n8n.
• Deep understanding of prompt engineering, context engineering, and practical LLM applications in business processes.
• Experience leading business change, improving productivity through AI, or embedding AI tools into team workflows.
• Experience mentoring, teaching, or coaching professionals, particularly in apprenticeships or digital skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organisational, and independent-working skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure.

Nice to have

• Background in education or an AI-related field.
• Knowledge of LLMOps, model evaluation, safety guardrails, AI ethics, and AI ROI estimation.
• Relevant Claude, Azure AI, AWS AI, Microsoft Copilot, or Power Platform certifications.
