Senior Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States

Base pay: $162,500–$220,000 per year, with potential cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define, build, and productionize consumer ecosystem metrics such as revenue, ARPC/ARPU, monthly active users, LTV, retention, and cross-product migration.
• Design and ship certified production data products, including cross-product customer identity resolution.
• Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests for cross-product initiatives with custom outcome metrics and automated reporting.
• Build and maintain agentic analytics tooling, including skills, plugins, and self-serve data access.
• Handle regulated tax and cross-company data while respecting privacy, consent, and compliance boundaries.
• Communicate technical findings and actionable insights to product, finance, marketing, and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• At least 3 years of experience applying data science, statistical modeling, and analytics engineering to business decisions.
• Expert proficiency in SQL and Python and/or R.
• Experience with large-scale distributed data platforms such as Spark, Databricks, or BigQuery, plus production data pipeline and workflow tooling.
• Experience designing, shipping, and maintaining production data products and business metrics used by finance and executive stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical colleagues.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field.
• Experience with agentic workflows, LLM-based analytics tools, or similar modern AI tooling.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver significant business impact.
