Cyber Threat Analyst (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Build, manage, and maintain correlation rules and alerting configurations across SIEM, security orchestration, threat intelligence, and other cybersecurity platforms.
• Collect, organize, and analyze security data from SIEM, Radware, firewalls, threat intelligence platforms, and related tools.
• Support investigations into suspected security events, system anomalies, misconfigurations, misuse, and compliance reviews.
• Analyze cyber threat trends using the Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
• Document incident-response processes, logging sources, data architectures, threat models, and security best practices with cross-functional business teams.
• Maintain security dashboards and asset inventories, perform root-cause analysis, and consolidate data using integration tools or SQL, Python, and scripting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify patterns in complex datasets.
• Experience developing, customizing, and maintaining SIEM and security-platform visualization dashboards.
• Strong knowledge of threat modeling, threat intelligence, cyber-attack techniques, and mitigation strategies.
• Advanced knowledge of firewalls, anti-malware, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and network and systems security platforms.
• Ability to communicate complex topics to engineers and leadership, collaborate cross-functionally, protect confidential data, and operate in high-stress situations.
