What you will do

• Lead investigations and response for security alerts, phishing, malware, suspicious activity, and other cybersecurity incidents.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, cloud, application, and business unit teams to contain, remediate, and recover from incidents.
• Perform threat hunting and proactive analysis to identify emerging threats and indicators of compromise.
• Tune and optimize SIEM, EDR, and other monitoring platforms to improve detection fidelity and reduce false positives.
• Develop and improve incident response procedures, playbooks, and operational workflows.
• Advise business units on security risks, control improvements, remediation priorities, and strategic cybersecurity initiatives.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in information technology or 2+ years in incident detection and response.
• Experience responding to security events and incidents and solving technical challenges.
• Knowledge of cloud environments and system infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Understanding of common attack vectors, defensive security controls, and computer systems.
• Ability to break down large-scale technical challenges into actionable tasks.
• Willingness to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
