PLM Analyst (Server Architecture)

Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States

Salary: $182,000–$242,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Create, maintain, audit, and release accurate bills of materials, including part relationships, approved vendors, substitutes, and revisions.
• Own Engineering Change Order and Engineering Change Notice workflows, coordinate reviews and approvals, and facilitate change review board meetings.
• Assess the downstream impact of product changes on documentation, inventory, BOMs, and production schedules.
• Administer the PLM platform and govern part numbers, classifications, metadata, document control, revision history, and product records.
• Support Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Program Management, IT, and ERP teams, including PLM-to-ERP synchronization and system upgrades.
• Support New Product Introduction programs, train users, maintain SOPs, and improve PLM processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in PLM analysis, product data management, or configuration management.
• Strong understanding of server and data center architecture.
• Experience managing Engineering Change Orders and structured change-control processes in an engineering environment.
• Knowledge of part lifecycle management, document control, revision management, and product data accuracy principles.
• Must meet U.S. export-control eligibility requirements, including U.S. person status or eligibility to access the controlled information or obtain the required authorization.

Nice to have

• 8 or more years of relevant PLM, product data management, or configuration management experience.
• Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, and PLM-to-ERP integration workflows.
• Experience with NPI programs, phase-gate processes, quality management, change-management SOPs, or training programs.
