What you will do

• Design and develop high-performance C/C++ software for embedded systems on Linux and VxWorks.
• Implement real-time operating system functionality and networking protocols.
• Develop modular and scalable software aligned with system requirements.
• Design automated testing scripts and integrate testing into the development lifecycle.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and optimize software for reliability, performance, and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with factory teams, peer engineering teams, and third-party vendors on module testing, calibration, requirements, defects, and delivery schedules.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree in one of these disciplines.
• 3+ years of industry experience in embedded software development.
• Professional experience applying C/C++ to embedded systems.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of photonic technologies and their application in networking systems.
• Experience with CPU architectures, hardware specifications, timing diagrams, device data sheets, and hardware drivers.
• Experience with data-driven architectures, YANG, REST, JSON, XML, microservices, and version control using Bitbucket or GitHub.
• Experience with real-time operating systems, networking protocols, Linux, or VxWorks.
