Branch Manager

Location: Fairfax, VA, United States

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, and other permitted considerations.

What you will do

• Lead branch personnel through coaching, training, motivation, performance management, and corrective action.
• Manage branch profitability, P&L, sales, net income, asset management, and expense budgets.
• Develop and execute sales, operational, and digital adoption strategies to support profitable growth.
• Oversee inventory control, warehouse operations, facility security, safety inspections, equipment, and stock levels.
• Build relationships with customers, vendors, sales, marketing, and other business partners.
• Support deliveries and branch activities such as counter sales, order fulfillment, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping when required.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in sales, operations, electrical distribution, or a similar B2B industry.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience and the ability to develop and coach a team.
• High school diploma or GED required; a four-year bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations, plus the ability to develop and implement sales strategies.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and an ERP system such as Solar Eclipse.
• If deliveries are required: valid driver's license, minimum age of 21, acceptable motor vehicle record, and required medical certification.

Nice to have

• Forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment certification.
• Experience managing P&L statements.
• Four-year bachelor's degree.
