Lead Data Manager (Clinical Data Management)

What you will do

• Lead hiring, onboarding, training, mentoring, and performance evaluation for Clinical Data Management staff.
• Provide operational and quality oversight across clinical study data management activities.
• Define and maintain Data Management Plans and support data transfer requirements with Sponsors, Project Management, Account Management, and Clinical Data Programming.
• Monitor KPIs covering quality, productivity, data delivery, and query performance, and prepare monthly reporting.
• Serve as an internal and Sponsor-facing contact for data management questions, risks, timelines, and quality events.
• Improve workflows and maintain study documentation, SOPs, work instructions, and training materials.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data management experience.
• Prior leadership or people management experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong organizational, interpersonal, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with SAS and/or SQL is preferred; ability to collaborate across cross-functional and client-facing teams is required.
