C# / C++ Programmer (Automotive Diagnostics)

What you will do

• Build diagnostic products and tools for commercial trucks from the ground up.
• Maintain, update, and write protocols for diagnostic products using C#, C, and C++.
• Learn vehicle bus protocols and analyze data logs to identify undocumented messages.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications, optimize performance, and support unit and UI testing.
• Design intuitive interfaces and dialogs while collaborating with product development on new features.
• Research and suggest new diagnostic products, applications, and protocols; occasionally perform field tests with automotive technicians.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience with C-based coding.
• Knowledge of software development and protocol languages.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug software and analyze existing C applications.
• Ability to design intuitive, user-friendly graphical interfaces and dialogs, natively or with third-party add-ons.
• Strong decision-making, organization, attention to detail, communication, adaptability, and flexibility.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
