Plant Engineer 2 (Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Provide technical support for manufacturing equipment, plant systems, equipment design, and operations.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and quality issues, including PI data reviews, CIP/SIP circuit checks, MOC, and flow path evaluations.
• Support technology transfers, preventive maintenance updates, spare parts management, equipment changes, and process improvements.
• Execute commissioning protocols, manage change requests, and participate in engineering project planning and implementation.
• Conduct deviation investigations and root cause analyses, complete CAPA actions, and maintain compliance.
• Review and author SOPs, work instructions, batch records, engineering documents, and commissioning documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline is required.
• 2–5 years of practical experience applying engineering principles to plant systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to support manufacturing operations, engineering documentation, investigations, commissioning, and compliance activities.
• Ability to work on-site in Portsmouth, NH.

Nice to have

• Degree or coursework in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Biopharmaceutical or process engineering experience.
