Operator (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Broussard, Louisiana, USA. Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

What you will do

• Set up, operate, maintain, and adjust solvent-washing sprayer equipment according to operating procedures.
• Monitor chemical and supply inventories and notify the supervisor when reorder points are reached.
• Perform routine equipment inspections, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move materials throughout the facility.
• Operate filling and transfer equipment and safely load and unload bulk tankers.
• Follow safety, quality, containment, PPE, and regulatory requirements in the production environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift operating experience is preferred.
• Current forklift operator certification or the ability and willingness to obtain certification.
• Strong technical aptitude with basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow operating and safety procedures, communicate effectively, and work safely in a production environment.
