Global NOC Operations Manager (Networking/IT Operations): Managing enterprise-wide network operations, incident response, monitoring, and outage communications with an accent on service availability, root-cause isolation, and ITIL-based operational processes. Location: Hybrid in Arlington, Texas, United States, with two days per week onsite and three days remote. Availability to work any time of day, including weekends, may be required. Less than 25% domestic and international travel.

What you will do
- Oversee timely response, tracking, escalation, and communication for enterprise-impacting incidents and broad service outages.
- Direct analyst teams in fault isolation, root-cause analysis, performance trend identification, and failure forecasting.
- Monitor networks, voice and telephony systems, server infrastructure, and related enterprise technology for availability and performance.
- Coordinate outage notifications, major incident management, change management, production code promotion, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Maintain operational documentation, shift logs, knowledge base articles, reports, and backup tape rotation procedures.
- Hire, schedule, coach, train, and evaluate NOC employees while coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and senior leadership.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience in computer or customer support, including 3–5 years in an NOC environment preferred.
- Previous NOC supervisory and technical staff management experience is strongly preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of WAN security, networking, TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, and network monitoring.
- Strong knowledge of Windows desktop and server operating systems, OS/400, UNIX/Linux, enterprise hardware, and information systems.
- Expertise in ITIL-based workflow management, troubleshooting, data correlation, reporting, and independent decision-making.
- High school diploma or equivalent and a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required.
Nice to have
- Experience with SolarWinds Orion, Remedy, ServiceNow, RightITnow, Workload Automation, Tidal, SSRS, Crystal, or Cognos.
- Major Incident Management experience.
- Advanced VBScript or PowerShell knowledge.
