Associate Scientist (Immunoassay)

Salary: $78,100–$116,200 annual base salary, plus potential bonus

What you will do

• Design and execute experiments supporting reagent and assay development projects with minimal supervision.
• Analyze experimental data using spreadsheets and graphing software, then prepare presentations with conclusions and recommendations.
• Troubleshoot complex experiments, identify issues, and implement solutions.
• Maintain laboratory supplies, equipment, inventories, and electronic inventory databases.
• Process, aliquot, vial, and label materials while maintaining reagent inventories.
• Monitor and report on laboratory or functional-area infrastructure as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field.
• Required experience running antibody-based assays, developing reagents, and supporting product development.
• Strong knowledge of scientific fundamentals, immunoassay technology, data analysis, and statistics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to prepare clear written and verbal presentations.
• Ability to execute complex experiments independently and collaboratively while managing changing priorities.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment, including occasional BSL-2 work with human blood or blood products, work at heights above four feet, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in life sciences or a related area.
• Training and experience with Biosafety Level 2 techniques.
• Knowledge of GraphPad Prism and SharePoint.
