Associate Scientist, Immunology

Location: Onsite in Pearl River, New York, United States

Annual base salary: $60,200–$100,400, plus eligibility for a 7.5% bonus target.

What you will do

• Perform high-throughput flow cytometry assays to characterize cellular immune responses.
• Support ELISPOT, ADCC, and other cellular immunoassays for clinical vaccine programs.
• Support new assay qualification, experimental documentation, data integrity, and audit readiness under GxP and internal SOPs.
• Improve laboratory workflows through 5S, automation, process optimization, reagent preparation, inventory control, and sample management.
• Analyze and interpret assay results and present findings to colleagues and leadership.
• Collaborate within the Cell-Mediated Immunoassays group and across functions supporting vaccine development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline and 0–2 years of experience.
• Hands-on laboratory experience in immunology or a related field.
• Ability to collaborate effectively, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business needs.
• Scientific curiosity and willingness to continuously develop technical expertise.
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States by any employer is required.
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with flow cytometry, ELISPOT, ADCC, mammalian cell culture, or aseptic techniques.
• Knowledge of immunology, cellular immune responses, statistics, and data analysis.
• Experience with laboratory automation, high-throughput workflows, Lean methodologies, or 5S.
• Familiarity with LIMS or other electronic laboratory systems.
• Experience in a clinical or regulated laboratory environment, plus AI fluency and interest in digital tools.
