Project Developer (HVAC)

Location: Tampa, Florida, United States — hybrid role.

Salary: $90,000–$153,300 annual base salary plus annual bonus.

What you will do

• Develop project scopes, schedules, cost estimates, forecasts, and customer proposals for turnkey HVAC solutions.
• Collaborate with sales teams, customers, project managers, and fulfillment teams to scope, estimate, sell, and transition projects.
• Analyze HVAC system types and create conceptual designs, including piping and sheet metal improvements.
• Create and manage project schedules, milestones, dependencies, estimates, and development plans.
• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor proposals while maintaining subcontractor relationships.
• Review contracts, perform risk analysis, address customer concerns, and implement corrective actions through project transition.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in mechanical contracting.
• Experience with mechanical systems layout and design.
• Experience with HVAC systems and controls.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, subcontractors, budgets, schedules, safety requirements, and customer expectations.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
