Traveling Quality Control Manager - Nationwide

Location: Onsite in Kansas City, Missouri, with ongoing travel to project sites throughout the United States

Salary: $54,188–$127,500 annually

What you will do

• Implement and manage client-approved Quality Control Plans across construction projects.
• Perform or direct daily inspections and verify compliance with plans, specifications, and delivery requirements.
• Prepare material submittals, delivery verification forms, daily quality reports, and project records.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, third-party testing agents, pre-construction meetings, and manufacturer certifications.
• Assess unacceptable materials and work, exercise stop-work authority when necessary, and monitor site compliance.
• Ensure adherence to HSEQ procedures, OSHA requirements, USACE EM 385-1-1, and applicable local regulations.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in commercial or industrial construction, including at least 2 years in a quality control role.
• Experience supporting multiple projects with approximately $5 million or more in annual volume.
• Extensive knowledge of building codes and general engineering principles.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, collaboration, adaptability, and organizational skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office, Procore, Adobe, and evolving construction technologies.
• Ability to travel continuously between construction project sites across the United States and work in office and active-site environments.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Formal safety and quality control training certifications.
