Director of Quality Control (AI Infrastructure)

Location: On-site in Dallas, Texas, United States, with regular travel to active construction sites including Amarillo

Salary: $225,000–$280,000 annually plus bonus and restricted stock units

What you will do

• Define and own the enterprise QA/QC strategy across greenfield construction projects through turnover.
• Build, lead, and develop a distributed team of QC Managers and Senior QC Managers across multiple sites.
• Establish scalable quality management systems, standards, inspection frameworks, ITP libraries, and reporting cadences.
• Partner with Construction, Commissioning, Design, Procurement, and Operations leadership to align quality with delivery, schedule, and reliability outcomes.
• Manage program-level quality relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, OEM partners, authorities having jurisdiction, inspectors, and certifying bodies.
• Set commissioning readiness and turnover documentation standards, lead quality reviews, and convert findings into corrective actions.

Requirements

• 15+ years of construction QA/QC experience, including at least 5 years leading program-, portfolio-, or multi-site quality functions.
• Experience building and leading distributed QC teams across multiple active projects.
• Deep expertise in MEP systems for mission-critical environments, including electrical distribution, mechanical and cooling systems, and controls.
• Experience establishing enterprise QMS frameworks, quality standards, metrics, commissioning integration, and construction-to-commissioning handoffs.
• Executive presence and experience managing quality relationships with major general contractors and subcontractors.
• Must be based on-site in Dallas, Texas, with regular travel to active construction sites.

Nice to have

• Hyperscale or large-scale data center program experience with AWS, Meta, Google, Microsoft, or a peer organization.
• Experience in healthcare, semiconductor, refinery, or central plant mission-critical environments.
• Familiarity with Procore, BIM360, and enterprise construction or quality data platforms.
• CQM, CQI, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certifications.
• Experience with hyperscale customers or executive-level audits.
