What you will do

• Conduct and maintain TARA and threat-modeling activities for embedded transmission, powertrain, and electrified vehicle systems.
• Define security objectives, system and ECU security concepts, and mitigation strategies for identified risks.
• Translate risk analysis results into testable cybersecurity requirements for systems, hardware, software, and suppliers.
• Review embedded architectures and specify mechanisms for secure communication, diagnostics, authentication, access control, secure updates, and data protection.
• Maintain cybersecurity work products, traceability, compliance evidence, and residual-risk follow-up throughout the V-cycle.
• Collaborate with Functional Safety, Systems Engineering, project managers, technical leaders, and suppliers on implementation, testing, and risk decisions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, or a related discipline.
• Professional experience in automotive cybersecurity, embedded systems security, or product security engineering.
• Hands-on experience with TARA, threat modeling, security concept definition, and cybersecurity requirements engineering.
• Solid understanding of ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE Regulation R155, and automotive Cybersecurity Management Systems.
• Knowledge of embedded hardware and software architectures, including microcontrollers, ECUs, communication buses, and RTOS.
• Strong written and spoken English required, along with structured problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with automotive powertrain, transmission, or electric-vehicle systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 24089, IEC 62443, OWASP, AUTOSAR Classic or Adaptive, and Automotive SPICE.
• Practical experience with secure boot, secure diagnostics, cryptography, key management, intrusion detection, vulnerability management, or penetration testing.
• Experience with Polarion, DOORS, or similar requirements-management tools.
• Exposure to OEM cybersecurity requirements, supplier interfaces, audits, or assessments.
