Industrial Waste Lab Assistant

Location: Pasadena, Texas, USA; onsite laboratory work required.

Salary: $18.85–$25.05 per hour.

What you will do

• Prepare and analyze samples according to established protocols.
• Operate and work with GC, ICP, and calorimeter instrumentation.
• Calculate, document, and report analytical results accurately and promptly.
• Sort and dispose of samples, clean glassware, and maintain orderly laboratory work areas.
• Follow the Waste Analysis Plan, Chemical Hygiene Plan, and required safety procedures.
• Collect samples from tank trailers when required, including outdoor work and ladder climbing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software.
• Ability to climb stairs, stand for most of the shift, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work onsite in Pasadena, Texas, including occasional outdoor sampling duties.

Nice to have

• Previous laboratory experience.
• Knowledge of the waste industry.
