Analytical Chemist Technician III - D shift

Location: Onsite in Bloomington, Minnesota, United States. D shift: every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM, plus alternating Thursdays from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM.

Salary: $24.94–$37.86 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform scheduled chemical analysis of plating baths and make chemical additions to maintain correct levels.
• Monitor pH, flow, temperature, and other real-time process data using SCADA software.
• Take corrective action during out-of-control process situations.
• Maintain and calibrate inline chemical measurement and dosing systems.
• Maintain laboratory analysis equipment and prepare chemical calibration standards.
• Maintain laboratory records and collaborate with engineers and specialists to standardize practices across shifts.

Requirements

• Experience with chemical handling and laboratory safety.
• Ability to independently perform routine chemical analysis, chemical adjustments, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.
• Comfort working in laboratory and cleanroom or factory environments.
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing chemical analysis data.
• Strong communication, documentation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Bloomington and follow the specified D-shift schedule.

Nice to have

• Strong chemistry, analytical chemistry, or chemical process control experience.
• Experience with HPLC, ion chromatography, ICP, XRF, UV-Vis spectroscopy, or potentiometric titration.
• Wafer manufacturing or systems experience.
• Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing experience.
• LIMS software experience.
