What you will do

• Develop 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings for CDU skids, frames, enclosures, sheet-metal assemblies, and related structures.
• Own mechanical architecture decisions for new skidded and modular cooling platforms, including piping layout and component packaging.
• Design for manufacturability with the Carrollton manufacturing site and US fabricators.
• Specify and integrate piping, hose, and fluid-handling components according to applicable ASME codes.
• Lead design reviews, tolerance stack analyses, FMEA exercises, prototyping, NPI builds, and field-issue root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with the Hong Kong mechanical team and serve as the senior mechanical interface for shared platform components.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of mechanical design experience in industrial equipment, data center infrastructure, or skidded systems.
• Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks, Inventor, or Creo, including large-assembly and sheet-metal workflows.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, weldment design, and structural analysis fundamentals.
• Familiarity with ASME piping codes, OSHA seismic requirements, and US data center standards.
• Experience establishing CAD, drawing, and BOM standards and mentoring mechanical engineers.
