What you will do
- Own, prioritize, and maintain product backlogs against business outcomes.
- Translate stakeholder needs into requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Partner with engineering and design to deliver high-quality production-ready AI products.
- Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, and day-to-day delivery execution.
- Manage dependencies, risks, scope changes, and continuous product improvement.
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and communicate progress, trade-offs, and decisions clearly.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product management or product ownership.
- Higher Education experience with Colleague ERP, SIS, and LMS platforms.
- Strong knowledge of agile delivery and product ownership practices.
- Experience defining requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for cross-functional teams.
- Direct experience with clients or external stakeholders and strong communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Miro, and AI tools such as Claude for documentation, research, and analysis.
Nice to have
- Consulting or agency experience.
- Experience prototyping with Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
- Familiarity with process mapping, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI-powered products.
- Industry experience in Consumer Products and Retail, Education, Energy, Financial Services, Healthcare, or Manufacturing.
