Quality Engineer II (Healthcare)

Location: Remote-first.

Salary: $80,000–$105,000 annual salary.

What you will do

• Write and maintain test cases for assigned features, including happy paths and relevant edge cases.
• Own quality activities for small features and bugs, delivering scoped work on time with limited supervision.
• Build and maintain automated end-to-end tests in Playwright and API-level tests.
• Investigate flaky tests, run exploratory checks, and create clear, reproducible bug reports.
• Use AI tools to draft test cases, automation, and selectors while reviewing and correcting unsafe or inaccurate output.
• Review code and tests, communicate work direction, and provide actionable feedback to teammates.

Requirements

• Approximately 1–2 years of experience in software quality, testing, or test automation.
• Programming or scripting ability in TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests, ideally with Playwright or comparable UI and API testing frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Git, test-suite execution, and basic independent debugging.
• Daily experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar, including critical review of generated output.
• Clear communication, dependable delivery of scoped work, and a genuine interest in healthcare and patient data protection.
