Mechanical Prototype Technician

Total compensation: from €45,000 gross per year, including a 20% variable bonus based on goal achievement.

What you will do

• Build prototypes, mock-ups, and mechanical test setups for Hypercharger product development and design validation.
• Manufacture, modify, and assemble mechanical components using engineering requirements and technical documentation.
• Operate, maintain, and optimize 3D printers, CO₂ laser cutting equipment, workshop tools, and machinery.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, validation, and root cause analysis of prototype designs.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers and multidisciplinary development teams, providing feedback on manufacturability, assembly, and functionality.
• Manage workshop materials and inventory while improving prototyping methods, processes, quality, and safety.

Requirements

• Technical education or relevant professional experience in prototype manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or workshop activities.
• Experience with workshop equipment, manufacturing processes, mechanical assembly, and fabrication.
• Practical knowledge of prototyping technologies; basic CAD knowledge is advantageous.
• Hands-on, structured, precise, quality-oriented, and proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of German or Italian is required.
• English skills are required.
