What you will do

• Collaborate with sales and project teams to translate customer requirements into compliant technical solutions based on type-tested busbar products.
• Review mechanical engineering drawings and release design documentation, shop drawings, and bills of materials for production.
• Prepare wiring diagrams, design models, electrical calculations, and standardized engineering documentation.
• Coordinate cross-plant problem-solving, product transfers, new product development, and corrective actions.
• Support production and site issue resolution and respond to customer comments on technical submissions.
• Participate in technical meetings with customers, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent four-year degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering field.
• At least three years of experience in a technical engineering role and experience designing low-voltage switchgear.
• Hands-on AutoCAD experience and knowledge of relevant IEC codes and standards.
• Knowledge of PC-based engineering tools, including IFS, MS Office, CADD, and PDM systems.
• Strong technical, mechanical, analytical, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prepare design calculations, review engineering data, manage project milestones, and collaborate effectively across teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with BIM and 3D drawing packages such as SolidWorks and Revit.
