Director, Operations Strategy (AI)

Location: United States; remote-hybrid work from the Boston office, home, or a combination of both. Availability to travel up to five days per quarter for team gatherings and other events may be required.

Salary: $202,151–$283,320 annual target cash compensation, including base salary and bonus target.

What you will do

• Drive high-priority operations programs and projects from ambiguity through execution, including operations technology launches, partner initiatives, weather playbooks, and high-value customer launches.
• Build a feedback system that converts more than 200,000 monthly customer and partner contacts into structured signals for operational and product improvements.
• Design and run Operations business rhythms, including staff meetings, business reviews, planning cycles, and goal-setting processes.
• Map, redesign, document, and implement more efficient operational processes across teams.
• Lead change management, internal communications, documentation standards, and adoption of new tools and ways of working.
• Evaluate AI and automation opportunities, develop business cases, and drive adoption across Operations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in operations strategy, business operations, or consulting, including at least three years leading teams or programs at a fast-moving technology company.
• Experience building new functions, processes, or teams from scratch and delivering sustainable results.
• Ability to manage multiple complex programs, influence stakeholders without direct authority, and align teams with competing priorities.
• Strong judgment regarding the practical value of AI and automation in operations.
• Comfort working with data to define problems, measure outcomes, and challenge assumptions.
• Clear writing, confident executive communication, strategic thinking, and hands-on operational execution.
