Pharmacy Technician

What you will do

• Coordinate onboarding and ongoing care for new home infusion patients with case managers, nurses, caregivers, and providers.
• Collect medical, clinical, billing, and demographic documentation and accurately enter it into electronic medical records.
• Schedule patient deliveries with caregivers and the internal dispatch team.
• Support medication, supply, equipment, and inventory purchasing, including order verification and formulary compliance.
• Maintain patient and proprietary information confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, legal, regulatory, safety, and quality requirements.
• Report medication-related incidents and equipment failures, assist with training new referral coordinators, and participate in quality improvement projects and on-call duties when required.

Requirements

• Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Ability to understand medical information and transcribe it into electronic patient charts.
• Experience with patient registration or EMR systems such as NaviHealth or Allscripts.
• Strong organization, planning, multitasking, phone etiquette, and de-escalation skills.
• Basic computer competency and ability to work under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
