AI Technical Product Manager

Location: Hybrid work required within a commutable distance of Louisville, Chicago, New York, Washington, DC, or Arlington, VA.

Salary: $126,300–$173,700 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Lead the technical product vision, solution architecture, prototyping, scaling, and optimization of major AI product initiatives.
• Build and co-develop LLM-based applications, conversational AI, and intelligent automation using modern AI frameworks and cloud platforms.
• Translate complex business and operational challenges into measurable AI use cases and product outcomes.
• Guide AI solutions through governance reviews by preparing technical documentation, scorecards, market scans, and technical deep dives.
• Develop model evaluation frameworks, reusable code libraries, solution patterns, and technical playbooks.
• Mentor product managers, engineers, and data scientists while communicating technical strategy, risks, and value to executive and technical audiences.

Requirements

• Hybrid location eligibility: currently live in or be willing to move to a commutable distance from one of the listed U.S. talent markets.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in technical product management or engineering focused on AI/ML solutions.
• Experience architecting, building, and scaling enterprise AI applications, including LLM-based solutions.
• Hands-on expertise with Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, LangChain, vector databases, RAG architectures, prompt engineering, Azure AI, and OpenAI.
• Experience across the AI product lifecycle and familiarity with enterprise AI governance, responsible AI, compliance, and stage-gate reviews.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, insurance, or another regulated industry.
• Knowledge of security, privacy, and compliance standards for sensitive data and AI solutions.
• Experience building reusable technical assets and leading cross-functional technical teams.
• Knowledge of GenAI advances, LLM fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation, and AI evaluation methods.
