Focus on leading MAS examinations and remediation programs, optimizing transaction monitoring rules, and translating regulatory changes into global compliance initiatives.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures under MAS regulations, the Payment Services Act, and international frameworks.
  • Serve as the accountable MLRO and primary regulatory contact for MAS, managing examinations, notice compliance, thematic reviews, filings, and responses.
  • Lead suspicious transaction investigations and STR sign-offs while maintaining AML/CTF best practices.
  • Design and optimize transaction monitoring rules and financial crime risk typologies with global compliance and analytics teams.
  • Lead regulatory audits, internal reviews, remediation programs, and management action plans through closure.
  • Prepare compliance reporting and dashboards for senior management across jurisdictions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of compliance experience, including at least 3 years as an MLRO or Deputy MLRO at a Singapore-licensed Major Payment Institution under the Payment Services Act.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore AML regulations, the Payment Services Act, MPI licensing obligations, and regulatory reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience managing direct MAS supervisory engagement, examinations, regulatory queries, notice compliance, and remediation of findings.
  • Experience drafting management action plans and managing regulatory commitments through resolution.
  • Experience in global organizations or cross-border compliance functions is preferred.
