What you will do
- Support the day-to-day operation of second-line compliance processes and advise first-line teams.
- Identify, assess, and treat compliance risks while providing oversight and challenge across AML/FT frameworks and controls.
- Monitor regulatory developments, assess their impact, and coordinate regulatory change management projects.
- Prepare accurate and timely regulatory reporting, including payment statistics, financial reports, and AML reports.
- Engage with regulators and competent authorities, including the Bank of Spain and SEPBLAC.
- Provide management information, conduct ad hoc analysis, and coordinate with external advisors on local regulatory matters.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar second-line compliance role within a financial institution or consultancy.
- Experience engaging with regulators and supervisory authorities.
- Strong understanding of AML/FT frameworks and experience translating regulations into actionable business guidance.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing, communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Native Spanish speaking is required.
- Ability to work with the Amsterdam-based European team and participate in in-person collaboration.

- Experience in payments or fintech.
- Experience supporting regulatory matters across relevant European jurisdictions.
